If you’re looking for top-tier chef crafted temaki, and all-around premium quality otoro, Brush Sushi in Buckhead Village is the answer. This concept offers a unique variety of Japanese inspired dishes, including a personalized omakase experience. The overall ambiance at Brush is relaxed and refined. The gentle hum of conversation and light music creates a soothing atmosphere, ideal for both intimate dinners and celebratory occasions. You can sit at the bar for a more social experience, or in the main dining area which is cool, calm, and collected. My sister and I had the pleasure of dining here before attending an Arctic Monkeys show, and Brush proved to be the perfect pre-show destination to see one of our favorite bands.

A standout feature of this dining experience is the staff's attention to detail and their accommodating nature. Our server guided us through the menu with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for sushi. They also explained the significance of the dishes we ordered, and the proper way to eat temaki (sushi handroll). Another thing that I found interesting was that Brush pours their soy sauce into spray bottles, so you can distribute as little, or as much you want onto your sashimi and maki.

I would recommend ordering the savory yellowtail jalapeno plate, Shima Aji, and spicy Negitoro Maki. Pair this meal with the Ultraviolet cocktail (Seedlip Grove 42, Lime, Coconut, Butterfly Pea Flower). This dining experience is a bit of a splurge, but definitely worth it if you want an elevated, sophisticated experience.
