KOJO Sarasota
KOJO, the modern pan-Asian concept gives minimalist and upscale flair, in the heart of Downtown Sarasota. The ambiance is light yet inspired, which is soothing for a intimate date night or quaint girls’ night out. The sashimi and sushi is presented beautifully, while also incorporating a novella of spice and fresh ingredients. After trying many options ranging from the tuna crispy rice to the spicy tuna nori, I have curated a list of must-haves to try at KOJO.
Address: 1289 N. Palm Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Here are some recommendations for your next date night:
You cannot go wrong with the Yuku Cooler or Mock Margarita. A night out calls for refreshing meets tangy mocktails.
The spicy wagyu noodles are the perfect shareable dish for those who crave savory and sweet combinations. The grilled wagyu is served on top of a pool of glass potato noodles. Served with green onions, market vegetables and an in-house sweet & spicy gochujang sauce—every bite is blissful.
The KOJO roll features a tasty torched salmon, spicy tuna, spicy mayo, cucumber, and tempura bits. Makes for a great starter.
The Yellowtail with Jalapeno was a favorite—the house ponzu sauce and micro cilantro offers more than just presentation. I’d consider it the finishing touch for the melt-in-your-mouth yellowtail.
