Buttermilk Provisions

I did not have many resolutions for 2017, but I did promise myself I that I would go on cute coffee dates. Looks like I am staying true to that verdict.

Today I went to Buttermilk Provisions with my sister Kat. Buttermilk Provisions is a specialty coffee and tea shop with emphasis on Artisan provisions. A perfect way to describe Buttermilk Provisions is to think of it as one of those cute coffee shops you would see on Gossip Girl. Just imagine Vanessa Abrams meeting up with Dan Humphrey (aka my hot, socially conscious celeb crush: Penn Badgley) at an artsy coffee shop to have iced lattes and talk about the latest scandal.

A neutral background that perfectly goes with my olive-colored dress calls for a photo op!

The rhythm of her conversation. The perfection of her creation. The love she slipped in my coffee. The way she felt when she first saw me?

Kat is definitely serving some straight-out-of-the-70's looks. Or Wednesday Adams looks. Or librarian that will get you together in a heartbeat look. Or some Tommy Hilfiger catalog looks. ISSA LOOK overall.

I opted for an caramel iced coffee with a chocolate cheesecake donut. Two words: great idea. It was my first time trying iced coffee; I usually go for frappes, but something told me to try something new...and Buttermilk Provisions does not make frappes, haha! But I can say the mason jars were the highlight of my day.

We sat at this wooden bar, which gave me ultimate Z Gallerie vibes. I live for rustic, worn homey looks, so I definitely obsessed over the knotty pine counter top (yes, I know my woods). 

Overall, I give Buttermilk Provisions a 5/5. Definitely a great place to make a quick donut run to. Grab a light lunch with your cultured, artsy boo. It’s also a great study spot.
