Stop. And listen. Ordering the Asian BBQ ribs are a necessity. Thank me later. Or now. They melt in your mouth, and are packed with smoky flavor.
Sushi
You can’t go wrong with the WATR roll. It’s a fresh, delectable staple at the 360 degree ocean view rooftop bar. Next, I had the Acevichado Roll. It’s served with jalapeño, aji amarillo leche de tigre aioli, and red onion. So good! I also liked the crunchy spicy tuna roll. Colorful and presented beautifully.
Have a thing for yakisoba? The Chicken Yakisoba is stir fried with seasonal vegetables, Japanese styled noodles and juicy cut chicken. Definitely a shareable entree.
I was on a celebratory birthday tour so I got the chance to try WATR’s vanilla bourbon and coconut sorbet.
The Visionary Boss verdict: Views at WATR? Pristine, to the max. The 600-foot stretch of shoreline, with translucent, ocean blues defies any phone camera. Food and drinks? Art form. WATR is a total vibe. A sanctuary, if you will. The washed whites and natural woods pair well with refreshing cocktails and bold flavors.
