Situated within the new 56-acre Water Street Tampa neighborhood, the hotel is home to 172 guest rooms and suites and 7 food and beverage venues, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar and terrace.
The Tampa Edition is a lush getaway, fit for wellness-focused, grounded guests who seek relaxation, play, and comfort.
I celebrated my birthday by booking a deluxe queen suite. My balcony had the view of the Water Street Tampa neighborhood and The Pearl Tampa.
The deluxe suite was stylish, simplistic, and sophisticated. The light wood floors and fresh, white linen opens up the entire space, creating a home away from home. The closet and spacious luggage storage is also a plus.
As I got ready for my birthday dinner, I wrapped myself in the warm complimentary robe, and slid on cozy slippers. If it wasn’t for my dinner reservation I would have spent all evening lounging and winding down. The beds were beyond comfortable. I had the most gorgeous slumber during my stay. Combine that with blackout curtains—and you’re in for a peaceful, silent night.
The deluxe queen suite is 434 square ft, so you will have plenty of space to get ready for a big night out in Channelside or downtown Tampa.
Room features include a Nespresso coffee machine, iron & ironing board, free wifi, and a Bose bluetooth speaker.
The Tampa Edition is a Marriott Bonvoy property. With that being said, you can request amenities and room service right from the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app. I was able to request my car from valet, and it was ready in minutes. Everyone at the Tampa Edition was so kind and enthusiastic. From valet attendants, room service, to the baristas at the downstairs market.
I recommend checking in early to catch some sun and enjoy cocktails at the rooftop pool. Then, grab a bite at one of the food venues. I always enjoy the Market at The Edition restaurant. Click here to view some of my favorite beverages and entrees.
End the night with a luxe night cap at the Punch Room upstairs. I’d definitely recommend booking a reservation beforehand.
