The cocktails did not disappoint. The French Martini was a sophisticated choice of smooth and sweet, while the Strange Love philter was warm with hints of oak.
Oysters here are a must. Half a dozen is a good start.
A favorite of mine is their French onion soup. A safe bet, topped with aged Gruyere and chives.
What is dinner without dessert? The creme brûlée was a sweet, shared treat. I’m still thinking about the rich custardy base and glazed caramel goodness. Two spoons, please!
Overall, Boulon is an energetic night cap for your Friday or Saturday stroll around Channelside. It’s a beautifully designed concept, with a fun, social feel. Service here is attentive and welcoming. You cannot go wrong with ordering a round of oysters or mussels, trying their popular highly reviewed French onion option, and an effervescent pour.
