The Tampa Edition is a lush getaway, fit for wellness-focused, grounded guests who seek relaxation, play, and comfort. I stayed in the deluxe queen suite, in celebration of my birthday. I had the view of the Water Street Tampa neighborhood and The Pearl Tampa.
The room was stylish, simplistic, and sophisticated. The light wood floors and fresh, white linen welcomes you when you first walk in. You’re also greeted with a closet and spacious luggage storage.
After wrapping yourself in warm complimentary robe and sliding on your slippers, you’ll want to lounge and wind down. The beds were beyond comfortable. I had the most gorgeous slumber. Combine that with blackout curtains—and you’re in for a peaceful, silent night.
The deluxe queen suite is 434 square ft, so you will have plenty of space to get ready for a big night out in Channelside or downtown Tampa.
Room features include a Nespresso coffee machine, iron & ironing board, free wifi, and a Bose bluetooth speaker.
The Tampa Edition is a Marriott Bonvoy property. With that being said, you can request amenities and room service right from the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app. I was able to request my car from valet, and it was ready in minutes. Everyone at the Tampa Edition was so kind and enthusiastic. From valet attendants, room service, to the baristas at the market.
I recommend checking in early to catch some sun and enjoy cocktails at the rooftop pool. Then, grab a bite at one of the food venues. I always enjoy the Market at the Edition restaurant. The Visionary Boss Verdict:
The best word to describe the Tampa Edition is posh. The upscale atmosphere is sure to please those in their soft living, luxury eras (IYFYK, it’s a TikTok thing). The property is gorgeous. The entrance to The Edition alone is fabulous. The lush plants and neutral accents set the tone for a grand experience. Oh, and that illuminated stairway is bound to be an Instagrammable staple.
